Project Background

On July 1st, 2016 the EC Directive 2013/35/EU, on teh minimum health and safety requirements regarding the exposure of workers to the risks arising from electromagnetic fields (EMF) became a law in all Member States.
In the European metal working sector, which accounts for over 87E billion of value added to the European economy, as well as over 2 millions jobs, the successful implementation of the legislation requirements can lead to an increase of costs for the industrial companies.
The Erasmus+ project HS-EMFW aims at helping companies address this challenge, by developing a harmonized training course of personnel involved in the risk creating the Electromagnetic Fields Heath and Safety Officer in Welding professional profile.
